MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has been able to make significant progress to Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu, the hit song from 2016 was awarded the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for the Best Song. The singer released his first long-player ADN for the Medellin-based Sony-distributed La Industria Inc. It reached the top 8 spot on the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca was it was the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007, saw him join Ozuna. Mala Influencia is his collaborative effort with Noriel in the year 2020. In the following year, Dopamina was his follow-up album. Later in 2021, he performed as a duo with TINI on her most streamed track Maldita Foto. 2000, which featured the smash hit La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was brought up in a musical environment, since both his mom and his older brother are musicians. In his interviews, he said his participation in music as compulsory. He began playing guitar, saxophone Ukulele, and piano while a young child. His initial choice of career was to be a vet, but his brother Julian persuaded him to learn how to sing under the help of a Cuban teacher. It was the result that he realized his talent for singing and altered the direction of his life.
